The avant-garde painter Alberto Savinio (1891, Athens – 1952, Rome) will be the focus of a major retrospective highlighting his revolutionary contribution to twentieth-century art and his relevance within the contemporary debate on painting. The exhibition will present Alberto Savinio as a classical author, a Renaissance man, a postmodern intellectual, and, at the same time, an artist of the future.
