Andrea Marchesini si presenta sabato 2 novembre alla TAIT Gallery (via San Quintino 1 Torino), durante Torino Art Week in una mostra a cura di Matteo Scavetta. Dalle ore 20:30 le opere dell’artista vicentino saranno accompagnate da open bar e DJ set.
L’artista è lo sciamano dispensatore di ordine e togliendo, scavando, fa luce verso il pensiero puro che si materializza sulla tela attraverso assemblaggi di diversi tessuti e materiali. Come testimonianza di reminiscenze, il pensiero si compone su uno sfondo neutro, luminoso, determinato da campiture decise, divenendo lo spazio in cui l’idea pura si palesa e si ripropone all’artista e a noi, spettatori di questa trasmutazione.
Marchesini è un mediatore di pensieri puri, insaziabili esploratori alla ricerca della migliore rappresentazione della propria visione dell’Io e delle sue sfaccettature. Il tessuto in ogni opera dell’artista è selezionato e applicato, adagiato sulla preparazione pittorica, protagonista del processo mentale che estrapola i dolori e i desideri di rinascita. Le sue materie sono la testimonianza della rinascita dell’individuo. Cucire, incollare, sono azioni simbolo di cambiamento, una mutazione di stato e di dimensione, riflessione di come il tempo lenisce il dolore e crea, modella, smussa, amplifica, diminuisce, attiva e, inevitabilmente, modifica. La matrice rimane, il resto evolve. Marchesini accetta questa condizione, la rende palese a noi, ci fa capire che non è uno sbaglio accettare, lo scendere a patti di non essere più ciò che si è stati, la bellezza sta nell’essere puri, chiari, le nostre azioni devono essere suono dei nostri segni interiori. I damaschi, le stoffe preziose, le passamanerie, le ruvide tele sono la traslazione di questi codici sommersi, i nostri sogni realizzati, quelli ancora da realizzare, le nostre paure e gioie da far esplodere nell’universo della vita.
Andrea Marchesini rappresenta la vita cristallizzandola nei quattro bordi della sua tela, lo sfondo monocromatico ci ricorda di quanto sia importante focalizzare, non perdere mai di vista la forza del pensiero, l’importanza del ricostruire per sentire dal profondo la vita e il suo sapore.
Andrea Marchesini nasce a Verona nel dicembre del 1973, compie studi scientifico-umanistici. Fin dall’adolescenza mostra interesse per una cultura europea soprattutto in campo artistico. Perfeziona le sue conoscenze a Londra, Dublino, Barcellona e Roma. Nel corso della sua attività artistico/pittorica ha esposto a Vicenza, Venezia, Padova, Limena, Verona, Milano, Torino, Roma, Bologna, Firenze, Genova, Londra, Madrid, Seul, New York, Amburgo, Stoccarda e ai Magazzini del Sale durante la 57.ma Biennale di Venezia.
Andrea Marchesini presents himself on Saturday 2 November at the TAIT Gallery (via San Quintino 1 Turin), during the Turin Art Week in an exhibition curated by Matteo Scavetta. From 20:30 the works of the artist from Vicenza will be accompanied by an open bar and DJ set.
The artist is the shaman dispenser of order and by removing, digging, he sheds light on the pure thought that materializes on the canvas through assemblages of different fabrics and materials. As evidence of reminiscences, the thought is composed on a neutral, luminous background, determined by decisive backgrounds, becoming the space in which the pure idea reveals itself and proposes itself again to the artist and to us, spectators of this transmutation.
Marchesini is a mediator of pure thoughts, insatiable explorers in search of the best representation of his own vision of the Self and its facets. The fabric in each of the artist’s works is selected and applied, laid on the pictorial preparation, protagonist of the mental process that extrapolates the pains and desires for rebirth. His materials are the testimony of the rebirth of the individual. Sewing, gluing, are actions that symbolize change, a mutation of state and dimension, a reflection of how time soothes pain and creates, models, smooths, amplifies, diminishes, activates and, inevitably, modifies. The matrix remains, the rest evolves. Marchesini accepts this condition, makes it clear to us, makes us understand that it is not a mistake to accept, to compromise to no longer be what we have been, beauty lies in being pure, clear, our actions must be the sound of our inner signs. The damasks, the precious fabrics, the trimmings, the rough canvases are the translation of these submerged codes, our dreams realized, those still to be realized, our fears and joys to explode in the universe of life.
Andrea Marchesini represents life by crystallizing it in the four edges of his canvas, the monochromatic background reminds us of how important it is to focus, never lose sight of the power of thought, the importance of rebuilding to deeply feel life and its flavor.
Andrea Marchesini was born in Verona in December 1973, he completed scientific-humanistic studies. Since adolescence he has shown interest in a European culture especially in the artistic field. He perfected his knowledge in London, Dublin, Barcelona and Rome. During his artistic/pictorial activity he has exhibited in Vicenza, Venice, Padua, Limena, Verona, Milan, Turin, Rome, Bologna, Florence, Genoa, London, Madrid, Seoul, New York, Hamburg, Stuttgart and at the Magazzini del Sale during the 57th Venice Biennale.
