The first major anthological museum exhibition devoted to one of the most influential artists on the Italian painting scene. The exhibition will be developed as a single performative installation consisting of the slow depositing of time and colours.
In the work of Maria Morganti it is existence that leaves signs of its passage through coloured materials. “In itself my work has the experience of colour, colour understood as physical entity, as trace of life”.
