Mel Bochner (Pittsburgh 1940) nel 1966 organizza a New York quella che sarà definita la prima mostra di arte concettuale della storia. Da sempre il suo lavoro è incentrato sul linguaggio, il suo significato e la sua rappresentazione.
Vanta una sterminata serie di esposizioni in gallerie private ed è presente nelle collezioni permanenti di MET, MoMA e Whitney Museum di New York, Tate Modern di Londra, National Gallery di Washington, MOCA di Los Angeles.
Metroquadro ha presentato in Italia i monoprints di Mel Bochner fin dal 2009, anno in cui l’artista ne ha iniziato la produzione. In questa sua quinta personale presso la galleria, sono in mostra gli ultimi lavori, ormai diventati iconici.

Metroquadro has presented Mel Bochner’s monoprints in Italy since 2009, the year in which the artist began producing them. In this fifth solo exhibition at the gallery, his latest works, which have now become iconic, are on display.
