Dal 3 novembre fino al 10 dicembre 2023 al Binario 2 OGR presenta Tainted Lovers, mostra personale di Sara Enrico (Biella, 1979), a cura di Samuele Piazza.
Prodotta con il supporto di Fondazione Sviluppo e Crescita CRT – sostenitrice di una fellowship a favore di artisti piemontesi per un periodo di residenza all’American Academy di Roma – la mostra raccoglie una serie di opere realizzate tramite una sofisticata manipolazione di materiali, dal tessuto al cemento fino alla gommapiuma, e allestite in una inedita installazione nello spazio espositivo.
Il rapporto con la superficie degli oggetti, le tensioni delle strutture e le interconnessioni tra elementi eterogenei invita i visitatori a riconsiderare le categorie percettive, immergendoli in un’esperienza sensoriale quasi tattile.
From November 3 through December 10, 2023, Binario 2 will host Tainted Lovers, a solo exhibition by Sara Enrico (Biella, 1979), curated by Samuele Piazza.
Produced with the support of Fondazione Sviluppo e Crescita CRT, which champions a fellowship for a residency program for Piedmontese artists at the American Academy in Rome, this exhibition brings together a series of works crafted through a sophisticated manipulation of materials, including fabric, concrete, and foam rubber. These works are then arranged in an unprecedented installation within the exhibition space.
Enrico’s exploration of the surface of objects, structural tensions, and the interplay of diverse elements invites visitors to reconsider their perceptual categories, immersing them in an almost tactile sensory experience.
